East Ferris Trails

The headwaters of the LaVase River, the historic river link between Lake Nipissing and Trout Lake, originate in this area.  The river was used by the aboriginal peoples of the area and later by explorers.  The river passes through the Corbeil Park Conservation Area, which is open to the public for guided and self-guided tours.  The famous Dionne Quints' birthplace, their mansion and the Corbeil cemetery where Emilie and her parents are buried, are all part of the East Ferris adventure.
