Kearney Trails

Kearney, "The Biggest Little Town" is situated at the crossroads of three access routes to Ontario's first provincial park, Algonquin Park. Kearney has landmass of 230 square miles and a year round population of 837 making it perhaps the biggest little town in Ontario and maybe even Canada. Its summer population increases to approximately 4,000. Many thousands of tourists travel through Kearney's year round playground. In the spring the sounds of nature capture the imagination; in the summer, noises of fun and laughter while enjoying the summer recreational activities, in the fall, the cavalcade of colours can be seen for miles and in winter, the abundance of snow makes the season a winter wonderland.
