Mattawa Trails

The Mattawa-Ottawa River area is famous for its Voyageur heritage and spectacular scenery.  Canoe trippers return year after year to make this memorable trip, following a 600 million year-old geological fault that cuts through steep rock faced cliffs and historical portages.  Mountain bikers will especially like the challenging terrain they face on one of many trails that are found throughout the Mattawa area.

All trailhead coordinates are listed metrically, and projected as UTM NAD'83 Zone 17.
