Description:
The Corbeil Nature Trail
is located in the Corbeil Conservation Area, owned by the by the North
Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority. It passes over
boardwalks and through a mixed forest offering excellent opportunities
to examine the forest more closely, and experience interesting rock
formations. The trail emphasizes natural changes that have
occurred in the wetlands over time. An interpretive guide is
available to correspond with the numbered posts along the trail.
Directions:
From the HWY 11/17
junction near Seymour Street, take HWY 17 east towards Ottawa.
After about 10 km (6.2 miles), turn right at HWY 94.
Travel for about 3 km (1.9 miles), following the signs until you reach the
conservation area.
