Description:

The French River has a rich historical past, being the main artery travelled by European explorers hundreds of years ago during the fur trade.  Today, the 110 km route from Lake Nipissing to Georgian Bay boasts 230 interior campsites, and provides a wealth of activities for canoeists, anglers, and hunters alike.  Maps are available at the French River Visitor Centre store.
