Description:
These trails offer an
easy, peaceful walk through a mixed forest which is dominated by maple
and other upland hardwood species. A few interpretive signs are
found along the trail which talk about the various species of trees
located in the area. Situated close to the Pickerel River, the
property is a part of a historically significant area, replete with native
culture, as well as evidence of early European settlements and logging
practices which can still be seen today. Navigating the trails
themselves is not difficult as most intersections are signed with
arrow markets indicating the trail's eventual destination.
