Description:
This
beautiful, backcountry trail system winds through
Laurentian Mountain and contains loops varying in
length and difficulty. Skiers can make their
way to the shores of the Ottawa River, along scenic
ridge lines, and through mature hardwoods. A
trail map and money drop box are located at the
parking area. Equipment rentals are available.
Directions:
From
the HWY 11/17 junction near Seymour Street, take HWY 17 east towards
Ottawa.
Turn left onto HWY 533 through the downtown
area of Mattawa. Follow HWY 533 for
11.7 km (7.3 mi)
and turn right onto Snake Creek Road (look for the
large 'No Regrets' sign at the turn). Map:
