Description:
From
a stream bed to the Ridge, through boreal forest and frozen swamp,
these trails will provide not only a picturesque and unique
perspective on the Nordic setting, but a potentially invigorating
tramp to challenge your stamina as well. The Beaver Meadow Loop
follows through an early beaver meadow where active beaver lodges are
present. The North Bay Nordic Clubhouse is at
your disposal from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm daily during the season to
provide warmth, washrooms, and a snack bar with luncheon specials.
Directions:
From
the HWY 11/17 junction near Seymour Street, head northwest on HWY
11/17.
Turn right onto Trout Lake Road for 8.5 km (5.3
mi).
Turn right onto Peninsula Road and left onto North Shore Road. Map: Courtesy
