Description:

This beautiful trail is located at the end of Brule Street in North Bay.  The trail loops through Laurier Woods, which consists of approximately 118 acres of moderately undisturbed upland forest and wetlands habitat.  This combination of forest and wetlands provides a variety of habitat for wildlife.  This area is outstanding for bird-watching, with 33 bird species nesting in the woods.  The trail offers a great escape from the City, within the City, and is managed by the Friends of Laurier Woods in partnership with the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority.

Directions:

From the HWY 11/17 junction near Seymour Street, head northwest on HWY 11/17 and take a left at Seymour Street.  Turn right at Franklin Street, and then left onto Brule Street where you will find a parking area and new trail signage.
