Description:
From
a stream bed to the Ridge, through boreal forest and frozen swamp,
these trails will provide not only a picturesque and unique
perspective on the Nordic setting, but a potentially invigorating
tramp to challenge your stamina as well. Following a well-marked
trail with a variety of options, you can design an experience to match
your interests and ability. The North Bay Nordic Clubhouse is at
your disposal from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm daily during the season to
provide warmth, washrooms, and a snack bar with luncheon specials.
Directions:
From
the HWY 11/17 junction near Seymour Street, head northwest on HWY
11/17.
Turn right onto Trout Lake Road for 8.5 km (5.3
mi).
Turn right onto Peninsula Road and left onto North Shore Road.
