Safety Considerations:

- users must use caution when cycling this trail as some of it is on a provincial highway 

 

This route is known to local cyclists as a way to explore the rural countryside.

 

 

Route:

Starting at Memorial Drive in North Bay, this ride begins with a nice long warm-up on the Kate Pace Way to Callander.

At the end of the Kate Pace Way, turn left on Cranberry Road and then right onto Callander Bay Drive.

Take Highway 654/Lake Nosbonsing Road west (right) through Nipissing Village.

Turn left onto Highway 534 to Powassan, and turn right onto Main Street, then left onto Memorial Park Drive.

Follow Memorial Park Drive and turn left onto Alderdale Road.

Alderdale turns into Groulx Street, and this takes you back out to Highway 654.  

Take a left on Highway 654 to the Petro Canada Station and head north again to North Bay.
