Provincial Parks are generally open between the May long weekend and
Thanksgiving each year, though these dates may vary depending on the
Park. For exact operating dates, please
contact Ontario Parks at 1-888-ONT-PARK, or call the Mikisew
Provincial Park directly at (705) 386-7762 (from May to Sept) or at
(705) 729-2010 (from Oct to Apr).

Description:
The
Beaver Meadow Trail is found directly across from the Park office, and
loops around a beaver wetland complex that is
slowly returning to forest.
This trail is perfect for bird watching as it travels through a
variety of settings – from wetland areas to lowland and upland
forest.
Directions:
From
the HWY 11/17 junction near Seymour Street, head southeast on HWY 11
for about 57 km (35.4 mi).
Turn right at Marie Street and right at Eagle Lake Road.
Continue on Eagle Lake Road for 13 km (8.1 mi), and turn left at Park Road
South. Take a left 1.5 km (0.93 mi) later towards the Provincial
Park.
